Can't Connect to Multiplayer Servers

Me and a friend have been trying to connect to each other but can't. He has even opened his ports but I still cant connect. His server doesnt appear on the list so I have to type his IP.

Also, we cant connect to the only server that appears on the list.

Anybody know how to fix this?

Multiplayer is pretty messed up right now since it's not currently worked on in favor of the singleplaer.

Sadly that means any bugs you have might have no fix, so you may have to wait until their is a fix ; n ;
