how do you get coins?

i've played for hours as the starting fish and i've only made like 9 coins in total. people on youtube get like 3 coins per kill. what am i doing wrong?

I assume you're talking about death match.

You could test the bounds of vacc and cheat coins.

Or

You could start in the swamp on easy ( I think swamp is the easiest) and just keep killing as the starting fish. It's just a lot of patience and a lot of time. Once you get to the bigger fish you can rack up coins faster from ( I think) eating larger peices of meat.

ohhh, i was talking about survival lol. i've never tried any of the other gamemodes. also it looks like i only have 1 map, which sucks

They are probably playing Deathmatch, this is why they are getting so many coins. It is easy to get coins there.

Survival is different. You get a coin every time your fish grows up and every time your babies grow up as well. So... have tons of babies and raise them. This is how you get lots of coins.

And yes, there is only one map for survival.

Also as starter fish, becareful. I generally just eat everything that DOESNT move lol.

Always be wary of the great white's general location. I usually only die to it if my dumbass gets close to them, in attempt to get behind them. Once they decide to target you, it's over, because they're really fast lol. Mosa is the one that actually generally sneaks up on me tbh, because it's so fast that even if I'm sure it's across the map, it'll be on the other side in...10-20 seconds? Mosa is easily the fastest thing on the map...

Mosa WAS oe of the fastest things alive,at its times.No fish in real life would pursue you for so long,maybe they should fix it
