many people get confused on how to proporly raise children and gain SURVIVAL coins. this guide will show you the ins and outs pf being a parent fish.

BEGININGS:
when you first start out in the world as a baby, your first priority is to find food and to get to level three. do NOT go hunting other fish like so many people are used to doing, this proccess will take too long and you will starve to death if the fish your tryingt to kill doesnt kill you first.

simply feed on the purple barnicals and starfish untill you are level three. when you get to level three you are then considerd an adult fish, you can mate with other adult fish by holding Q when the option apears with a red heart in the top left hand corner. you and your mate will automatically gravitate to eachother and bump into eachother. each bump in the right place will give you eggs. do this multiple times untill you cannot mate any longer. (note: you may have to move aroudn a bit to ge the right spot)



BECOMING A PARENT AND GAINING COINS:
once you have the max number of eggs, you can lay them where ever you want, though it is advised to lay them in or near the yellow coral tubes. the plankton floating above the coral tube openings will serve as food for the babied when they first hatch, as well as a temporary food source for the player and parent NPC.

both players and NPCs will become adults at level three, and you will have to feed your babies untill level three. if one of your babies grows to level three, you will be rewarded with a certain number of coins based on what ish you are. you can mate with your adult babies to creat more eggs and to get more coins to play as different fish when they update the game again.



MASS EGG AND COIN PRODUCTION:
I have found a way to gain coins with a very high level of efficiancy. the steps are as follows:

1. grow up and find a mate

2. go find the icthyosaurs and swim to the surface above them (most of the time there will be huge chunks of meat at the surface from the icthys fighting with browurags and whatnot)

3. make eggs with your mate (who should be following you)

4. simply lay the eggs out in the open water. they will sink to the bottom of the ocean and hatch. the icthyosaurs will not prey on the hatchlings because the hatchlings are too small to be renderd by them as food.

5. while they are sinking and hatching, go ahead and break up your chosen meat chunk (feel free to take a piece or two if your hungry)

6. wait for a while...... the babies will hatch and swim up to you automatically and eat the meat chunks as their first meal. the babies are VERY slow swimmers so be patiant.

7. the babies will not just eat the meat all at once, they have to be hungry in order to eat, so its best just to camp at your meat flakes untill they hit level three (it takes them 2 - 3 pieces of meat to get to level three)

8. once one of your babies is an adult, mate with it and lay another batch of eggs when you can. the other babies will turn to adult soon and give you coins.

9. reinse and repeat steps 3 through 8

10. profit.



LAST NOTES AND WARNINGS:
(note: if the mosasaurus/ great white ends up finding the meat chunk your at... GET. THE. F**K. OUT. the mosasaur/ great white will try and swallow the meat whole, accidentally swallowing your whole family and you in the procces.)

this mass coin production trick is only if you desperate for coins, it is less fun, and gives you less of a experience being a parent, and makes the whole survival mode not very enjoyable.

I like the tips though i was looking for a way to get back to black tip since i died in 3 seconds to a tuna due to the spawn for it being in a hell hole XD

well, this guide is now outdated, sorry. The icthys now don't spawn in one location anymore and there is far less of them now.
