how to lay eggs in the great map?

im level 15 and it wont let me lvel up more, and i cant lay eggs? the patch said you can..

find another fish of your species wich is matured, if you get cloes to it you can mate with it by holding Q, than ofter a short time you can lay the eggs bay pressing/tabbing Q.

There are no other fish of my species. Spent a long time looking. Nope no fishes.

I think only a certain number auto spawn. I spent 30 minutes looking for another bibos earlier and not a single one. It was lonely, being the last of a species.

I eventually become suicidal with the knowledge that i would be forever alone, just like real life. So I got into a fight with a shark and died.

Same here I can't seem to find another Yellow Butterflyfish to mate with been hunting for an hour now no mates in any of my spawn locations why not spawn more butterflyfish? also Dory & Pinky seam to repopulate just fine so I'm testing a Teorty & killing off Pinkies to see if Butterflyfish take thair place.

each spezies seems to have several spawn points.. i just try to remember where i started and when i'm big enough i return there and almost always find another of my spezies.

first off this post is 3 years old, secondly, i agree.. sometimes i try this game again and it just pisses me off then i quit again, last time it was because it took me an hour to get a few levels because my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fish couldn't eat anything other than that one weird shrimp looking creature that goes with the current with no control, the urchins are all poisonous and the seastars were indestructible no matter how long i chewed on them for science.. they just keep changing things up when i think i've figure out what to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ do, and the godamn predators giving you zero chance to escape

You're looking at the wrong map, great map's survival is still being worked on, its actually the only map without survival. I think you mean the Reef map. Also confirm if you actually pressed survival on a map that has survival.
