I too couldn't pass the tutorial, but even though you haven't completed it, you can go do the rest. I completed the last level (not the DLC part) and still have a hard time when I do the tutorial for some reason. When I started playing the game, I failed many time but the more you play it, the more you get better and it can show even in a day or two. The only level that I really hate i level 2. On that one, I got lucky. You're not lame, you just need a bit of practice.

Try again using a controller, it completely changed the game for me

Hey there! :tcol_ma_no: After all these years (I've started playing it since I was 14-15) I've remembered about this game and that I have to finish it, and now I've finally managed to!
My suggestion is to take breaks from the game and come later to it (not like me actually, u don't have to take break for years :D), like for day or two maybe.
Point is, very often there's a certain pattern of obstacle placement, that your hands could learn to avoid. So you just have to give them a rest to fully develop some muscle memory.
Also about controllers, idk, it didn't help me, but the advice can be good tho. I just prefer keyboard even in Dark Souls games.
Plus remember to stick to the center of the screen, some levels, ofcource (if I recall correctly, the second one) have some cheesy methods, like sticking to the corner and stuff, but if you willing to pass all the levels, train yourself to avoid taxes all obstacles by being close to the center. Tap a little to the left/right/up/down when it's time.
And also I would suggest to look further, don't just try to dodge nearest obstacles, but prepare yourself in advance to do some moves, like there's sometimes can be patterns like up-up-right-down-up and stuff like that. It's not about just muscle memory, but also about planning on your trajectory.
Hope this helps you! Good luck! :etgpilot:
