Expect another mobile game.
"Beginning of the end" might be "The End of Flesh" aka Loa.
Where did you get that idea? And how much have you played GP? And why are you derailing this discussion?
After SotS2 there was SotS : The Pit, a success - it's sadly too UI-heavy for mobile.
Then SotS : Ground Pounders - which failed because it tried to be both a desktop and touchscreen game, but the game is too complex for touchscreen controls.
Then Kaiju-a-Gogo, which some have _wrongly_ called a "Facebook game" (which could, in theory be ported to tablets?).
Now there's seemingly the The Pit 2 in development (unlikely to be on tablets, I'd say), as well as some kind of The Pit First-Person game (not likely to be mobile either) :

(or maybe they're the same game?)
Which is a shame, there needs to be more good touchscreen games out there (though it might be impossible to make a both complex and good touchscreen game).
