The glitch you mentioned will be fixed in the next update. :)
I'm going to reload my game before the experiment and play as it is legal.
The original glitch let you bypass the "max two additions to a skill per level", while this glitch lets you bypass the "your skill cannot be larger than twice its governing attribute".
That said, I don't think I'll try and fix this. The Quest has received innumerable updates and fixes during it's long life and at this point in time I rather only do critical fixes (for when the game crashes, for example). This is the first I've heard about this particular glitch (although I'm sure some have discovered and used it before ;). This is easily avoidable and doesn't hurt the game's enjoyment the least.
We are just two guys (and I'm the only programmer). We have our hand completely full with The Quest 2 if we were to have any chance to finish it anytime soon. I hope you understand.
Side note: have you considered adding a colon (:) after the name of the game along with an additional name? For example, "The Quest 2: Fire & Ice."
I would think this would provide more publicity and...well...make it easier for users to find information on your specific game in google, etc. xD
Because if you put "The Quest," you get so many unrelated topics in a search engine and that is what most people would type.
Regards.
We don't know what it will be called yet. We'll try to come up with something catchy. :)
