About the crescent key, if I remember well, you had to interact with almost everything, from windows to chairs, syringes and pills on the floor, boxes and trash bags, etc. The "best" way I could somewhat consistently do it was going as many rooms as possible before entering the keys room
Sadly there's no way to know for certain. The best you can do is keep up with the developer's Twitter page (@YaiGameworks), but if i remember, he said he's gonna update the game next year
The developer is prone to start/drop projects rather quickly: Red Haze has been promised to be "complete" for about 2 years give or take, another project Found Horror 11 has been... dead in the water for lack of better words.
Red Haze is my favourite game of the developer but even I have more or less just given up on seeing its full completion.
At least it's essentially open source so maybe it's possible someone else could finish it for him, probably wouldn't be the same though.
Really hope he gets on it again soon but at this point it's 2023 and he hasn't touched it in years so I'm not holding my breath.
