Endings explained/ Lore
For most of these endings I either don't really understand them or feel like their's something that i'm missing here that I can't put my finger on. Also since I haven't played any of the other games that this dev has made I don't really know a lot of the lore that this game has to offer and i'm not afraid of spoilers in that regard, I just want to know everything lore wise. So could people maybe post all the endings in this game and explain what they mean or why they happened. Also give information on the characters like on Rockette and why she was even in this apartment in the first place, what happened here, why Auntie G looks like the way she does, or why Starr is even here too, stuff like that.

Aunti G looks the way she does because she's deliberately been experimenting on herself using unspecified material reclaimed from Pale Smile.

Rockette's here because she's a homeless drug addict, as well as, for an unspecified period of time, working as a prostitute, and Aunti G is supplying her with drugs; she may also have been her pimp. The Host (green guy with the construction hat) explains more about this during his endings.

We don't know why Starry is here, yet.

Is that really all there is to these characters? I am honestly more intrigued by their stories than by the game itself that's why I don't wanna play but I want to know about these people. like why Rockette is homeless, why she's turned to drugs, what happened to her sister, ♥♥♥♥ like that. Also for the several different endings in the game like for example with the demon in the bathroom that asked if she was a liar and if you say that you are Rockette is shown nude then chopped up like what? That made no sense to me.

That ending is more interesting when he allows you to ascend.

The demon in the bathroom thing gives you two different endings, depending on if you do good or bad things in your playthroughs. As for lore, so far it's hinted to be along the lines of all of the developer's games are connected through some weird ways, as The Host is a character from Close Your Eyes, the hanging body is actually the main character from a different game not on Steam, and you are actually put into her game, but Rockette has different conclusions about love and life going through the maze, the room with the fridge plays a scene very similar to Blank Slate, a game that will likely be remade and released on Steam, and so on. The game isn't completely finished yet, there are still one or two big updates, but from what we've seen so far, the apartment complex was basically cursed all the way back to its creation and a dark history has made different things occur, leading to the different ghosts and demons, and the odd limbo of the place is drawing in other things. Pale Smile was being studied, and several of the characters like Edmund and Auntie G were experiments, with Starrie and Rockette's roles currently unknown. The research team were all slaughtered by the Diving Suit Ghost, which is hinted to be something pretty dangerous and powerful. The Host is interested in Rockette because of her connection to his other stories, as the Girl's Graveyard minigame implies she played a part in the story, but Red HAze is a different timeline, while Rockette's sister very intentionally looks similar to the sister/girl friend character in Close Your Eyes, which paints the character in a very different light. There is a lot more, but I assume this is the kind of stuff you meant for lore. Keep in mind, Yai Gameworks' games tend to evolve a very dreamlike kind of horror, without easy lore explaining everything on the surface level, needing some analysis and theory sharing before you may feel fairly competant as to the game's story. If you would, I would seriously recommend checking out CYE and Take the Dream, they are both free, and great, but playing through them may help you make connections, or even just experience a similar but unique setting from each other.

The apartment complex itself wasn't cursed; the lighthouse attached to it developed some form of sapience. Whether that's connected to Pale Smile or not is up in the air, but IMO, Pale Smile's involvement is a relatively recent thing. His desires, and those of Aunti G, are directly opposed to those of the Lighthouse; the Lighthouse, according to Greg, "knows things, and wants pain." Pale Smile just wants everyone to be happy forever, and Aunti-G--the most lucid victim of Pale Smile's mutations we're aware of--seems to want something similar. That would also explain why the entities closer to the Lighthouse seem be 'broken,' somehow, including the Custodian. Initially, all the Custodian does is dump you down into a well, where Pale Smile shows up and offers to 'play a game' with you; if you refuse, the Custodian shows up and...
Marries... You? If you accept, and lose, he mutates you; if you accept and win, he gives birth to you.

The Host isn't interested in Rockette. He plays with her, briefly, but finds her too easy and boring. He seems to be there looking for someone else, IMO.

It's also worth pointing out that the Girl's Graveyard minigame very explicitly claims that Rockette escaped from that timeline, somehow, and has retained no memory of it.

I definitely agree with you on that. I also got the impression that the Host was there for someone else. My guess was perhaps the enigmatic Starry. I would personally love to know more about her past and motivations.

WoAh!: Since there's time, I would suggest maybe giving Close Your Eyes a play since Red Haze isn't complete yet. That would help you to better understand who the Host is, at least. And once Red Haze is finished, I'm sure more will become clear about the characters/plot!

Starry would probably match up with his idea of 'twisted.' He might also be talking about Greg, though.
