About 4 months ago, as I was trying to come up with ideas for a small game to create, I thought maybe I'd try something inspired by Lemmings. And then I thought, okay, instead of lemmings, what creature could I use?

After a little while, it came to me: dodos! Of course. They're kind of funny looking, it'd be pretty amusing to see them flapping their wings helplessly as they fell. Not a bad idea, I thought. So I did some work on the game, constructed a few basic levels, created a few basic mechanics, and had some fun doing it. I thought it could be a something worth actually finishing and marketing.

Then I see this. Released well before I even considered my idea. Sigh. Back to the drawing board.

Just thought I'd share. I'm sure no one cares.

I'd say make a game with a fictional entity and world. With those two things the game will have a lot more charm and intrigue. It doesnt even have to be complicated.

And if means essentially Lemmings on Steam, id be there! Keep at the game!

Heh, well, cheers! I will probably keep working on it in some form or other, as in terms of mechanics I think it's still different enough from both Lemmings and this game to be distinct. On the other hand I don't want to stray tooooo far from Lemmings, as it's still the best puzzle game ever created, IMO.

As for the setting... I'll see what I can come up with. I'm not particularly creative in that area, that's why I was happy to have come up with an idea that I thought was at least decent... and why it was frustrating to see it'd already been done :P

Anyway, thanks for the support!
