"Buy the phone" mission

I started a new game and got the "Buy the phone" mission.

I bought the Strawberry Course 9200 but the mission is still there, and I haven't gotten the option for any other phones yet.

Edit 1: I can’t progress past level 12 because it requires me to buy a new phone, but there’s no new options.

It sounds like your game had glitched. Normally when you buy the phone the quest is completed. Try to turn on and off the game or go into a different save file and see if that works. If not then you may need to start a new save file. In the past when I have had issues going into a different file usually worked.
