Collaborator (Thoughts, and questions)
So i've had a collaborator for while and I personally find them to be useless.
1. To expensive
2. They mainly dance. Why are they always dancing? They should do things on their own like or maybe have checklist of things you want them to do and they just run on that route without me having to click on them for ever little thing
3. You can't do another task unless you stop the collaborator from their task

One pro is that you can do collabs with them

Will someone please explain to me what they might find useful about Collaborator or if i'm missing the whole concept of a collaborator

the collab are clearly bugged.
When you're making a video you can't give them order, the list is empty. They cost a lot lot lot too much money, level 15 collab cost me about 700$ and they are making crap videos because I am unable to upgrade the second computer (you get the option to buy this about one week after you started collab), So I sack my collab, making money by myself, upgrade the second computer to the max with the money and rehire another one... But the collab system is broken for now. I hope devs will fix this.
They dance instead of working by themselves, this is clearly an issue, I don't want to micromanage them, I have only one and I don't want to imagine the hell it is when you have 4 of them. Like giving them a thing to do (make 5 gameplay of this game, make a walkthrough, etc) and they do it and popup when it's done.

One another thing I found annoying is that you cannot hire your wife as collab. why is that ?

There also the fact when you fire them they will hate you and post negative comments on every single video you make.

also i fired my collab and the video she made will not upload. Now im stuck and cant make any editing.

Is there any way to stop a collab from posting hating comments on your vids. And also is there a way to get your editing up, ive done 2 courses in editing but it clearly doesnt work

Well, I don't have any issues with collabs.
Actually, I think that they should be nerfed. From my experience, they can work 24/7 (except when PC is busy), don't need to eat / rest, and the money their video makes is as much as my own.

To give you an example, I hired a collab level 25 (he was 4th) for $1.200 a month.
I make him do a video every day or two, and each video gives me between $700 and $1.100...

I have three collabs and before I start I video I have them start theirs. that way when i'm finished I can post theirs then make them do another video while I'm off to the movies or a gaming conference or whatever. But I do agree that if you're in the process of making a video and you heading to your workstation you should beable to issue orders.

Really that's weird because when I had a collab he did not work 24/7. My collab would say something like his frustrated and will come back tomorrow

You have to chat with them to make your status acquaintance again. Other then that they will just keep hating every video. I don't know about the editing I went through the maximum amount of training courses for editing and I still get the "your editing so bad lol".

I agree collabs seem really weird atm but honestly collabs atm are my money makers *I'm already in the last location*, because they don't seem to need food, and they just leave randomly, I usually crunch them with video making. I have 4 collabs and I constantly make them do videos. Usually to maximise my income I make a 1st Impressions *could also do an unboxing first*, then 3-4 Gameplays released within the same day because I have 4 collabs working on gameplays, then I (or a collab) make a review, followed by a walkthrough, and then its onto the next game. To me at least in the late game stages collabs are basically 70% of the income, while they might not rake in as many views and subs as I would if my character made the videos, the fact that they can crunch 2 videos a day each is enough to 1. Let me study courses for later on not worrying about money and 2. get more money than I would if I did the videos alone. Early on it is definitely a hassle but later on they are much more usefull *in my opinion.

*BTW at the current time of this comment I'm at 2.7 millions subs and like 88 mil views so the game is basically over already so the situation I'm in my not match yours. One tip though is imo it seems that no matter how much lower the numbers are when collabs create videos, they still get about the same views/like ratio as I would, if anything they have better like ratios then why I make the videos XD
