No more subscribers???

Everytime around 8-9 million subs, my videos stop producing subscribers. i am currently at 8.9 subs and 1 video only gives me + 50-200 subs... which is ridiculous if i ever want to get the 15 million achievement. i have no idea what im doing wrong.. this is the third save file, and everytime it happens. is this a bug or am i doing something wrong??

this is normal. the more subs you have the less each video will produce.

the only real way of getting more subs at this point are those phonecall spams.

ya know, those "i will upload your data if you don't pay blabla" they have those 5% bonus subs after answering correctly built into them and that's a lot. if you are at 14 million subs for example you will gain about 700.000 subs with that one click at an instant.

tho i think those calls do stop at some point, or my savefile is bugged and doesn't give me any of those any longer. i did get to 16million at one savefile tho. actually if you get lot's of calls it can be done in about 30minutes to an hour real time after you've reached about 10million already.

i do have a question tho. for some reason you were able to get the achievement for "letting the community down" what did you have to do to trigger it? since i was a 100% sure that it's impossible, because it's bugged. i've done it 5 times already and nothing happens.

That achievement happened to me while I was still living with the (witch step?) mother and deliberately worked to get more $ because the payment was higher than doing videos - that led to my subscribers dropping much and at the same time I got both that achievement and green arrow cutscene.

Letting the Community Down achievement - I did it in the second house with the room mate. You need to upload a video with 5 thumbs down and he'll appear.

The first time it happened, I had other actions going on and the achievement didn't trigger, so the next time I waited until after each video was uploaded before doing any actions.

First time I got it after 13 first impressions of the same game, all 1 scene and aiming for 0 content (compile your deck of the worst cards and purposely try to match the opposite cards to the scene), then just put 1 scene and upload.

The second time took forever.. had over 50 gameplays of one game and a tonne of first impressions and reviews before I finally got all thumbs down.

Well you asked how someone got the achievement and that is 100% how I did it on the second attempt on the current build.

yea, fits into what i figured out. had gotten my answer already :P you need a special type of video and you need to have 5 thumbs down exactly the way you said. you can get it otherwise too and that doesn't work

Got 15M 500k subs, but still dont have the achievement, nice job.. lol
same for views, got more than 100m (or 200m, i forgot how many views do you need for achievement) and i still dont have it

Based on Dan's Community Guide, you need to pass the 15m mark from uploading a video, rather than through the 5% boost from the Adblock phonecall.

You'll need to drop back down below 15m and do it manually.

I'm currently at 12.6m and ♥♥♥♥ it's an incredibly boring grind.
