Editing
So, is it just me? or is it a bug or what.

It doesn't matter how i arrange the clips, if i leave no black arrows, no reds, just all greens they still dislike the video for the editing.

The only thing i havent been able to test, is if its because you need the ending clip.
Since half my cards take 10+ points and i have ten clips to match reactions too, i can never make it to the end anymore.

So what im asking, is if you arent getting disliked for your editing, what is it you're doing.

Man, I've noticed this too

It gets really annoying when you think you do a decent job on editing with no errors or anything, always that one dislike for editing.... And for some reason it's always my freakin best friend ingame! D8<

And yet collaberators don't get any dislikes nearly 80% of the time for editing? Maaaaan

I think it mostly takes into account the stats of the video, when you put the clips in order there are numbers on the right hand side. From what I can tell the dark blue number is video editing and the higher you get that the better recieved the video is. You can improve it further with some of the courses you take and effects you put in the video whilst editing.

I've known that was a stat for the overall video since the beggining, but unless there is just some invisible threashold you need to cross compared to your other stats, Then the tutorial was what is at fault and needs correcting.

can you confirm that if your video editing stat is high enough that they stop ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥? I have yet to make a single video were 1 person doesnt slam me for it.

Im honestly starting to think its just a bug.
i'll do some more testing with that in mind, but i doubt it will work.
Any comments someone can provide to help get to the bottom of this the better.

Yep! It's always, "You're bad at editing." I actually took classes! Plus, I once had a flawless arrangement, with no yellow or red arrows, with a good start and end.

But maybe it's on purpose, as it does reflect actuality. On every Youtube channel in actuality, there will always be those one or two A-holes who downvote a video, even when they're drowned out by the overwhelming support of a million likes.

Oh yeah, and even at full stomach and rest, I still usually run out of light bulbs. Like when I get nothing but 10-cost cards, and I need upwards of 10 clips, I'd need 100 lightbulbs to guarantee an ending. It's ridiculous.

Plus, I found a couple typos, but that's for another topic of discussion.

I actually was looking to see if anyone had commented about the extreme lack of light bulbs. I only do a video if I'm 100% full in both areas and STILL manage to have issues making a full video.

I've also found that whenever I get lucky enough to have zero errors on editing (no red or yellow arrows at all, it's happened twice), I still get a dislike comment on editing. I'm not sure if this is just something to reflect real life, or if it's actually possible to get all thumbs up somehow and I'm just doing something wrong.

Granted it doesn't help I have an angry ex roommate that wants to frequent my videos....

The BETA build adds "Deck Building" which seriously helps alleviate the problem, but even then, I feel like I can hardly pull out the big cards with the 10 bulb costs. But at least restricting my deck to having only lower-costing cards helps.

And once, and ONLY once, I had all 5 main comments positive, with no editing complaint. I took a screenshot of it, I was so proud. I am not sure how to share that with you, though. Even with that, I still wonder how I could pull it off more regularly, as this felt more like a fluke.

I could actually understand and be okay with this, If the comment actually had any variety to it. The fact that its only ever the "this video editing sux, lol", is what bothers me, and im really starting to think it's a bug or a serious oversight.

If perfectly matching all the arrows together during editing isnt "good editing" then what are we doing wrong?
People need to stop being silent about the issue.
