Am i the only one that feels the cooking channnel...
... is lacking in only one way (besides the left-over bugs?) and that's the fact no matter how much food you cook, you can never actually use any of it, besides your youtuber vids, given the fact that there's hundreds of people playing, we're filling up the virtual landfill sites very quickly.. let us eat what we make, and save the youtubers life version of earth!!

You raise an interesting point there. I myself wondered immediately when I moved into the second house and saw I still need to buy food separately.

"I'm an aspiring celebrity chef who can't cook for himself? Huh?"

haha too true, i keep restarting trying to figure this version out, i'm wondering when i'm going to be able to get new cooking appliances, so far i have the microwave, that i stole from mum so she can't ever use it again mwahaha, but nah seriously, are there new types the further along you go or?

New stuff only becomes available in the second apartment.

I second this. I was just about to make a post suggesting that, immediately after making a food video, your hunger bar fills up a bit. None of the chefs on YouTube just throw out the meals they make. Not a one. >=(

I feel the cooking channel is more in depth thank videogames or music because you always have to create recipes first (which can be seen equal to writing own songs), so it can be considered more organization. This makes it only fair to let you eat the food you have cooked for the channel.
... yep, I knew this day and question would come.

It's just something we didn't think about when we first designed the game and this implementation would need a fundamental change in how the game works... and we're too far down the development rabbit hole to turn around and not break the game.

Let's say you're giving your meals away to charity, ok? meals on wheels!
After all, you're a successful enough youtuber and can afford to give your most succulent creations to those in need :P.

Oooh, I can already imagine the clickbait titles for the videos.

"I'M FEEDING THE POOR."
"EXTERMINATING HUNGER"
"I BURNT THIS HAMBURGER. WILL THIS HOBO STILL EAT IT???"
"COOKING PAELLA FOR THE HOMELESS WITH EL RISITAS!!!"
