WTF? I just got that message while in-game and got re-directed to the steam store page.

Right click on Youtubers Life on your Steam library -> properties -> local files -> verify integrity of game cache.

Speaking of this issue, yesterday I had a message pop up and my game close, it said something like "You neeed to run a legitimate version of steam to play this game" or something, then a pop that said "quit" apeared. I double checked my internet connection was fine and steam was running at the time. :/

Check the local files cache integrity on Steam next time, it solves this issuel.
