ASE not spawning

I last saved the game immediately after entering the monorail terminal.

Coming back to it today, I noticed that I didn't ave an ASE with me, which made it hard to interact with the environment and either access the vent or replay the hologram. I figured another ASE would be hidden, but couldn't find one. I didn't have any back in the monorail either.

I looked around for about an hour, and decided to give up and look at walkthroughs for clues. There, I realised I'd been wasting my time; I simply didn't have an ASE upon spawning.

I re-loaded the level, and an ASE spawned. So, yeah, an annoying bug, but at least the save wasn't corrupted :).

Hey Jongen,

Sorry to hear your little buddy disappeared on you! If he wanders off again, it might help to "call" him from your Astrotool (where you also open your audiologs, scanned files, etc). There are two buttons there. One to control ASE and another to call him!

Hello! I had this same bug at the same area and the ASE had grayed out from my astrotool kit so I couldn't whistle him back. I also did not have the monorail as a level, just the first 3 levels were there. I am concerned that I may be unable to continue the game at all at this point because of the levels not properly appearing now.

My "call" button is not working, It's greyed out. I am also stuck at the monorail terminal and can't travel back to get my ASE

exactly the same thing happened to me.
tried selecting another level (pearson station) and then selecting back, but now I only see fesenkov and pearson levels.

how can I fix this? I dont want to replay copernicus moonhub.

This has just happened to me as well. ASE unit has not spawned in the Copernicus Outpost 1 level which seems to mean it isn't possible to progress. I tried reloaded the checkpoint - no luck.

happened to me just now.. so still not fixed apparantly

As another thread mentions, replaying from chapter 3 and not stopping at the beginning of chapter 4 until your first checkpoint (picking up the audio log) is the way to go sadly.

The bug is still present and the only way to go was to start chapter 3 from the beginning. Unacceptable.

I just realized that I have the bug as well. Considering how old this bug is, and their apparent lack of interest in fixing it, I'm just going to request a refund. I've lost all interest now and I'm still within the 2 hour return window.

I also just stumbled over that bug, I´m at the Copernicus Outpost and stuck because my ASE did not spawn.

Same thing just happened to me at the same place. After the monorail my little guy just doesn't spawn. I tried closing the game and opening it again and I also tried loading back into the previous chapter but still no luck. I didn't think this game had so many issues until I came to the discussion page. Super frustrating, I won't be able to finish the game.
