how do you change key bindings ?

Besides changing the system language there are a number of other workarounds. There are a number of external programs that you can download that allow you to change the keybindings. Besides that you can change the Input.ini in your

C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Local\MoonMan\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor

folder and change the contents to this:

You can then change the specified bindings to the way you want.

This one for example, should change controls to work with Azerty layouts (the prompts will still show the incorrect buttons though): https://pastebin.com/F91qyzqg

Hi Bporion386,

At the moment it is not possible yet to change key bindings! But we are taking all suggestions into consideration for future patches.

thanks for the reply but i cant play like this . i will get a refund but i will try the game again if you fix this problem ,

French part of the players use an azerty keyboard, so wsad is indeed zsqd. It's very annoying, it's the basis of a game settings ! I'm with you since the start of the kickstarter, and I'm beginning to regret it...

Hi Urbinou

We've noted the problem but for now you can go to Windows Settings > Time & Language > Region & language and add English to your languages. When you then press windows + space, set the language to English.

You will then automatically use qwerty instead of azerty. Just switch it back to your own language once you're done playing and you'll use azerty again.

It's still on our radar but currently we are focusing on delivering the free DLC. For now you can use the work around that OneEsk19 has posted above.

my question was about changing key bindings . not about the azerty thing .

Hi bporion386,

Sorry, I misunderstood your question, I thought it was in relation to the azerty keyboard. Changing the keybindings is still on our list but we currently have other higher priorities. We'll look at it as soon as possible though!

well i got the game again and im glad i gave it a chance , its a good game , love the graphics and i got used to the WASD . all in all im a happy customer .

You must be kidding, Sarah Baker ! You want us to change the keybinding of our PCs to resolve your mistake ????

Tell me this is a joke...

It will make hard to use our keyboard after that.

No. I have a better idea ! I ask the full refund of that game and I'm going to talk about it and the behaviour of its developpers, a kind of "I don't care, change your own PC settings !"

Bad answer, Sarah Baker... Maybe the worst.

I'm sorry this issue prevents you from playing the game! We're a small team and adding the option to change the key bindings is not something we can work on right now due to our complete focus on the RTX release.

We understand that for some players the default key bindings present a problem. What Sarah Baker merely suggested is a work around for this issue. For players who don't mind changing their settings this can be a way to still be able to play the game. If you prefer to not change your settings we of course respect that, and you are free to refund the game on Steam.

Hello Miande,

I decided to uninstall the game and ask for a refund. I have been refunded, so the subject is no longer really relevant to me, but what I can say is that you did not allow the possibility to modify the keybinding. Every video game allows that modification. Someone said this is a basis, and that person said something true.

I understand that you are a small team, but even small games made by small teams allow players to modify the keybinding. We cannot modify anything from the keybinding in your game... That is not good at all, but that could be fixed by a patch filling that gap... But you explain to us there will be no patch...

Don't worry, English-speaking persons won't have any problem with the keybinding, but you will certainly see a lot of French-speaking person do what I did because most people won't change the language of their OS, or even only their keyboard, only to play your game... So many of the French-speaking people will certainly leave...
