So does this mean that the Soviets won't get reichrolled to the Bitter Peace by the end of 1941 anymore?

yay this game is still the best! an absolute masterpiece!

i'm still hoping someday you nab and eliminate that multiplayer tech desync bug that I think is caused by client having a blueprint. not 100% tho. sorry i never bug tested specifically for it like you asked, i'm not much of a bug tester lol

Its a lot better at least.
The German AI had recieved a lot of attention in the previus releases, which made them VERY effective.
WIth beta 8 USSR also got a bit of love, increasing their effectivity and thus both fielded forces and improved its odds.

Honestly i havent been playing HOI4, even though i have it - it just didnt really click with me.
I like many UI decision's, like the way the hierarchy is handled, but i feel detached from the combat.
And many limitations and design decisions feel arbitraty, they also added a lof of detail and numbers, which could be good - but depending on where you look the same number doesnt match what it tried to represent or don't really make sense in the way they are shown.

I propably just havent been through the learning curve and without the "feel" of the game beeing there i dont really want to invest the time needed.
Maybe the DLC's have helped, but sofar i just really have lost interest in playing it.

First of all, many thanks for your incredible work! It probably takes a lot of effort to maintain the project for so long. What are the currently expected release dates for the final version of patch 1.12? I wanted to start working on a new mod and do it on the final version of the patch. Perhaps you have some expectations? Summer, this year, next year?

Thanks for the continuous support of this old but great game. It's the best among Hearts of Iron series.

There wont be many changes now, just some final tweaks.
What you have now is pretty much what you get.. a bit of AI polish and that should be it.

Lennartos, I don't have anyone else at the moment that would be willing to bugtest with me nor do I have a 2nd PC, but you could probably easily bugtest the MP tech desync problem on your own if you have 2 PCs. Just have one host, have the other (the client!) play Japan, and have the client immediately start the blueprinted Japanese naval tech (use Yamamoto) 1 Jan 1936.

I'm not specifically 100% but I'm pretty confident that'll make it show up. I know when I was playing MP with a friend that was the specific spot it desync'd for us TWICE for sure. Two different playthroughs.
