Differences between HoI 2 and this?
I own, and love, HoI 2. What are the differences between AoD and HoI 2? Is it worth getting AoD? Thanks in advance^^

I can't really remember HoI2, but I know AoD has:

* a stacking penalty for every additional unit in battle, making quality muuch more important then quantity
* much more complex & realistic logisitical system
* different dissent system, which directly affects the revolt risk
* retooling time when building units - reflecting the RL benefits from mass production
* separate trade menu - making it much easier to find what nations to trade with
* infrastructure not only effects the ESE, but it also affects the IC and resources of a province
* IC has a concentration bonus - the more IC in the same province, the better
* several players willing to play online :D

It gives you 10 more years of play ending december 31 1964. HOL2 ends in 1954. The game is just like HOL2 other then that.

Once you play AOD you never go back - it is way too good
