AoD is the one I played a little bit, and it felt reasonably similar to HoI2. How is DH different?
Others are the way it handles events - rather then the events just springing up on you, you can trigger them. I.e. as Germany it will list the Remilisarisation of Rhineland event, saying what you need to do in order to trigger it. It has also made production times much more realistic (which isn't inherently a good thing when ships can take over a 1,000 days to build!)
