I did.
Clearly I did hence why i said its limited, very much so.
And if you did have a good excuse for making something bigger than that, you should probably learn about stiching images together.
It doesn't go anywhere near that for me. One of them that I chose went up to 180/100...
Tested on Hexels v2.54 in Windows 7.
The trixels for example doesnt though. Nowhere near that.
Can confirm, Trixels canvas is limited to 170x128 Hx for me.
So there is - however this kind of confirms that Trixels has a bugged canvas then. Even after changing the preferences, Trixels is still limited to 170x128hx

My bad - you need to restart Hexels after changing the preferences.
After adjusting the preferences, I'm seeing the same thing being discussed here http://steamcommunity.com/app/428340/discussions/0/152393186482777283/
Trixels is limited to 682x512hx when you change the canvas size in preferences to max out at 2048x2048
