FNaF World

FNaF World

Is FNaF World TRULY Free on Steam RIGHT NOW? (Not an idiot comment)
So people have been posting around a install link (steam://install/427920) for FNaF World. Is this legal and safe? Some people say FNaF World has already been set to "Free to play" in the Steam database anyways. So... can we download it? I really want to, since I didn't get to buy FNaF World when it was on Steam.

Copy and paste this into your web browser, or Steam Chat: steam://install/427920
BUT BE WARNED: THIS IS THE OLD VERSION, IT DOES NOT HAVE THE 3D OVERWORLD!

I went to steam://install/427920 yesterday and it's safe. I got FNaF World now! :D
You are such a hypocrite.
My view is if there really was an issue with you downloading the files from the Steam content servers via this method it would be locked down and those without the game subscription on their account would be refused the download.

However, I'm not Valve. That's just my view on it.

I think you can download any Steam game like this (used to be able to at least. Can't check right now as not at home) but 99.9% of games woukd fail to launch if you don't have the subscription on your account.
Yeah, if you check on your licenses it says "FNAF free to play" and "complimentary". I'm guessing the game was made free but people are still somehow able to download it, with that method. Scott did say he was eventually making the game free, so I'm sure there's no fault with Scott or Valve with it.

Scott deleted the game from steam and is uploading it for free on GameJolt with a 3D Overworld.

Was Steam open at the time? It worked for me using MS Edge, and when I tested it in Firefox, it asked me if I wanted Steam to open the URL.
