Scott... Reduce the number of loading screens.
Menus and whatnot is nice, but there needs to be a severe reduction in the number of loading screens. Sure, past FNAF games' loading screens made sense, since you were loading a whole set of AI depending on the night and also all the assets, but...

A loading screen when you click out of any screen to go into the main map? Really? I'm sorry to be a bit critical, but... it is entirely unimmersive, like... it takes you out of enjoying the game, no matter how short they are.

The game should load everything at first, and then play without loading screens, or each other screen should load in the background.

There shouldn't be a loading screen everytime you want to leave the Chips, Party, Shop, Battle, or Bytes screens. One of the reason people love RPG Maker games, is because of how simple it is to have a nice, smooth game that operates well on most devices. It's basically a default.

I'm not speaking as someone who thinks graphics are everything... I'm speaking as someone who is saying Stability is everything.

If any 10/10 video game out there had a loading screen every few seconds, even if those loading screens lasted two seconds, people would rate those games far lower. Because how can you enjoy something that stutters? Sure, you can get used to it, but it prevents you from really getting into the game.

With a great reduction in the number of loading screens, however it's done, I expect many others including myself will be more drawn to buying this, even if there are no menus for items, skills, party members, equips, saves, and most importantly, Stats. The concept of how strong you are in the game literally doesn't exist as you have no reference or gauge to such a thing, which a Stats menu would supply to the player.

He uses a dumbed down engine so his games can run on cellphones, so I guess the loading screens are related to memory constraints. :balloonicorn:

Actually I use the same engine as Scott, and I don't need to use many or ANY loading screens. I think they are just there for sh*ts and giggles.

The load screens give tongue-in-cheek humor to the characters being dicussed in the loading screen, and also are probably nessesary to check and apply the changes we made to our settings [Party Roster, Bytes, Chips.], as those are the only times outside of exiting a sub-tunnel a waiting screen is used, if not after leaving a store being of the other occasion off the top of memory.
