Do you still get characters if you run?

Hi guys. I was wondering if you still unlock characters if you run from battles. thanks

Running from fights can proc new character encounters. This is actually the best method for getting whoever you have left to get, as obviously, it takes WAY longer to fight each fight.

By 'circus', Nave meant the Funhouse (probably). Apparently, the Funhouse has better rates than any other place. Just farm in the Funhouse, anywhere inside will do.

I found him/her behind where you kill brow boy. I dont know if that's the sweet spot though.

I have searched Pinwheels Funhouse for about 8 hours on end and STILL haven't found Nightmare (He is the only character I'm missing)! I have "Find Characters" Chip and haven't found him yet, any tips?

JK, but if I'm reading that correctly, then you CAN get characters by running. Regardless of where you are in the Funhouse, the rates are the same, but you gotta be in the Funhouse.
