Hello, I've already built the reactor, salvaged colony modules, et cetera, and I haven't unlocked any of the achievements? Does anyone have any advice?

For those who have played the game without and with the DLC, would you recommend it for a first playthrough? Or is it better to play the original game first?

Seems like the game can end up in a no win situation in the beginining due to bad luck. Is there any strategy to get past the first few weeks given how you really depend on luck finding the right modules and also getting enough resources to construct them in time to avoid starvation....

Adding achievements was never really in the plans, but it could be a possibility in future versions, post-release. What do you guys think? Is it worth doing? Are achievements something you care about?
