combination lock is impossible to open

I have the correct numbers, but I can't open the lock.
I saw a youtube walkthrough and I did exactly what the guy did, still not hearing anything when I rotate (in the correct direction) to the correct numbers. I've been trying for almost an hour, about to give up.... :(

It was a bit frustrating for me too. The lock kept falling out of my hand. I ended up holding the lock with one hand (with my elbow braced against my body) and slowly rotating the comination with my other hand.

This was definitely one of more frustrating experience rather than fun.

For devs, you want to keep in mind that many countries don't even use this kind of lock. I live in US but I always hated this kind of lock and had very tough time opening the lock. I can't imagine anyone figuring this out if they have no previous experience of using this kind of lock

I had to google how this type of lock works, but even then it was very difficult to make it work. After looking at a YouTube video of a walkthrough, I tried and tried, again and again, and finally got it open.

Glad you found a way. I hope the Dev sees this and make some changes to the lock so that ppl don't quit from frustration

I had a lot of issues with the lock so here is how I got it to work:

Spin left until you hear the click, release your thumb from the trackpad.
Spin right until you hear the click, release your thumb from the trackpad.
Spin left until you hear the click, release your thumb from the trackpad.

Nothing else I did worked until I realized I had to keep the pad in my hand, but let go of the wheel between spins.

So I finally figured out how to do this one. You need to start at 0, rotate left until you hit 3 and hear a click, let go, rotate right until you hit 10, click, let go, then rotate left until you hit 17 and it should unlock. Very frustating puzzle.
