Stuck in first chapter, and help doesn't work

This seems like a great game and I love VR horror, but I am stuck at the very begining.

In the first chapter, I play with the ball until it disapears, I get the torn post card, the phone ring and I can see a child in hte corridor, the ball disapear again and a cup turn red ...

And that's it. Nothing else seems to happen, no matter what I do or how long I wait.

Also, the poster suggest that I could get hints by pressing left triger + right trackpad, but it does nothing for me. (Except crouch, or rotate.) I tried different keys (triger and trackpas on same hand, grip...)
I've seen in video that I'm supposed to get message on the back of my hand, but I get nothing.

Any help or suggestion ?

Also, I play on WMR if it matters.

exactly same thing happens to me ! game worked fine before the update

Hi,

In the observation room after hearing the phone and seeing the child, hold the red cup so that it is pointing towards your head/ear, as if it is a telephone. You will hear a whisper and you will be able to continue.

For hints: Hold down trigger to make a fist and then press the top half of the touchpad to get a hint drawn on the back of your hand. (Alt. try fist and menu if this doesn't work) It will always be on the same hand, not one button on left and one on right.

We have left the original version of the game in the beta channel if you wish to revert.

Thank you, it was the menu button.

That allowed me to play the next 20 seconds. So I took my medecine, then they voice told me that I could go back to my room, screen fade to black. Then nothing but blackness for 30 seconds ... then the voice call security and I restart the same level.

Either I am to stupid to figure out what to do or something isn't working.

i am stuck at the same room after i see the child and hear the phone the ball appear and the woman ask me if is something wrong.... and i see red glass i put the ball and red glass over and now ball is gone... i have no clue what to do next?

The piking sound now is inside of this woman room... Wtf? Why is so hard to guess what to do next?

Follow the sound, the red cup is ringing, just hold it so that it points to your ear.

What you did is correct but after saying you can go back to your room you should have moved on. That sounds like a bug but we've been through numerous times today and have been unable to recreate the issue. All I can suggest is to try again and let me know if it persists, sorry we can't offer more info at this point.

Well... This is strange mecanics just make two (me and one i know) o more refunds btw... sorri but i wont play like this guesing what to do every time...
