Slime Must Grow

Slime Must Grow

10 minute impressions
- UI is very basic, seems like it's from a 90s-era game
- Music is adequate but the sound effects are bad (especially the chain lightning)
- Essence looks so similar to enemy slimes that it's difficult to tell which is which
- Gameplay is not great, overall it seems like a worse version of something like Node Buster or Rock Crusher

Hello! With tonight's update I just added a few more soundtracks and changed the vast majority of the sounds. I also added a little aura around the essences of each type, so I hope they're a little easier to tell apart from the living slimes. Gameplay in general is still a work in progress, there's about ten more relatively game changing abilities not available in the demo that help to add variance.
Thanks for your response. The sounds are still really bad, sorry! The "twang" sound when you hover over buttons is too loud, peaks too high, and is generally uncomfortable. The chain lightning sound seems barely different from before. The essences are still really hard to tell apart, maybe make them less saturated and lighter? They are the exact same color as the slimes themselves.
Darn. I'll try to do a more in-depth sound rework tomorrow since that's universally what players say is the weakest part
