Can't connect to server?

When I start up the game it just stays stuck in connecting... I can't switch to private tab or anything.

I think the game only runs properly on versions of Windows 8 for some reason.

I would assume that this may be caused by high latency. The most likely reason for this would be the majority of servers being located in North America. Hopefully this issue will be resolved soon, please be patient.
