Game doesn't recognize my nvidia card
I'm playuing on a laptop with both an intel integrated graphics card and an nvidia card. I have the nvidia card as my default on every other application but this game doesn't detect it and I can't switch under the configuration.

It should work in the DirectX9 (defaul) version of the game if you change the game's properties to use your Nvidia. It won't show up in the configuration tool right now because for some reason the configuration tool is DirectX8. There's a technical limitation due to Nvidia deprecating support for Optimus setups in DirectX8 and earlier. It should use your card just fine if you use the DX9 version of the game and set it to use the card via Windows. I'll add a DX9 version of the configuration tool in the future for clarity.

The game is 30 FPS right now, though... except for the opening and ending.

How to get DX9 mode in GOG version? I get 60fps ingame but drops to 7fps when opening play.

In the GOG version, if you have no start menu shortcut for the DX9 version, you'll have to browse to the folder and run it from there.

However, the movie thing was fixed in a patch and GOG didn't accept it before launch. It won't be fixed by running DX9 instead of DX8.
