Anti-aliasing and Downsampling
is there a way to force the game to render at higher resolution and then downsample it to screen resolution? NightCry doesn't seem to natively support any kind of anti-aliasing. forcing it in Nvidia Control Panel has no effect, except for FXAA, which affects the UI. setting the higher resolution in the launcher also has no effect - it resets to screen resolution.

ReShade, a post-processing injector, can force multiple kinds of anti-aliasing (SMAA and FXAA), but both of them affect the UI, as well as the rest of the shaders. which is a shame, really - this game could use some graphical improvements.

I hope the developers consider adding customizable graphics options. So far the game is very poorly optimized.

I'm not sure whether the game's limited to the desktop resolution, or just internally limited, no matter the output res, a la Dark Souls. Even if I create a custom desktop resolution rather than using DSR, the game doesn't appear downsampled. Blurrier, but still aliased.

this is the problem with a lot of OpenGL games - they run in borderless windowed mode, instead of exclusive full screen. this is what causes resolution lock, IMO.
