[Krastorio 2 mod] I made a thing! Some setups I made that I thought I could share, in case they are useful
Hey all, not sure if this is something that would be of interest, or even worth sharing, but since I made them and I think they're cool, I thought I'd post them here in case other people that play the mod in the future would have maybe some use for some of them.

All of these builds are late-game enough to require tier 3 modules, but not really end-game worthy IMO, since there's a lot of stuff that changes when you unlock matter conversion stuff...

First thing is an smelter setup with the ore enriching integrated producing a wee more than 3 full blue belts and consuming ~3.2 belts of raw ore (coming in in 6 belts but only about half is consumed in each column,) so you can simply swap the normal smelting with the new one, feed it raw ore and prime it with some initial water, and the smelter works in a closed loop with the filtration plant (it produces and consumes as the exact values required for the enrichment plants):

It's in this particular size because that's what fit in my particular city block size, but it can be probably increased to more belts with some fiddling with the beacons and modules to keep the ratio exact. On that matter, is has a row of beacons with tier 2 speed modules, those aren't a mistake, they are required so the numbers between filtration and enrichment match exactly.

Of course, in order to swap to a different recipe, all of the machines have to swap to the corresponding recipes (furnaces, enriching and filtration) but also, there's a filter on the output loader from the filtration plant that recycles raw ore that also needs changing, else the smelter will lock-up. Finally, in order to swap to rare metals, sulfuric acid also needs to be swapped to hydrogen-chloride as input and in that case it requires TONS of it :/

Second thing I made for my current base is an Hydrogen Chloride plant that produces 660/s but requires an advanced chemical plant (just one!,) so it's late-game (requires advanced tech cards to get...) and consumes 5 green belts of sand for that...

Finally, the last thing, a closed-loop Lithium factory (neutral to slightly negative on Chlorine so it doesn't lookup!) producing ~21/s lithium, so two of these produce approx. 1 full belt, and only consume water and mineral water to work and produces extra hydrogen chloride that can be extracted or burned. The only think I dislike of this setup that I need to fix is the fact that the chemical plant keeps working and producing HC even when the lithium is output stacked, and wasting it (flaring it) in that case, and consuming hydrogen and chlorine from outside (since the lithium plants are stopped when that happens.)

This one is an old setup that I need to revisit and upgrade using the new advanced chemical plants, when I have some time.

In case producing enough sand to feed this thing is needed, one of these setups produce 6 green belts of sand from 2 belts of stone, and includes logistics recycling (for the stone that is produced by the smelters and the uranium!)

Last thing, as a bonus, a small belt factory that makes all the K2 belts in one place at a good pace, though they need an external iron, steel & imersite gears producer, not provided! :)

Here's a BP book that includes all of these, as a google drive link to a txt file containing the BP share string (28K byte file):

I don't think these are particularly good builds at all, in fact they are the first iteration of each and can probably be revised and enhanced!

thanks for sharing! I used your screenshot as a reference to make that belt/loader/splitter mall with advanced fabricators and it's working like a charm!
