Performance issue, [SOLVED]
Im guessing its something to do with my laptop, Im running an i7-8550u and geforce MX150. On a brand new map i get 6 FPS which seems absurd.

i think this migt be a problem

make sure you have sprite resolution: normal, and high quality animations disabled.

also there are mods to help with vram load, like "no animations"

Thank you for the reply, sadly these settings have actually reduced the FPS even further. Im not sure whats wrong with my laptop since i can play some other games which seems as demanding if not a little more without too much issue.

but at the same time, it loads some nvidia driver on the next line?

def a problem with the pc itself, just replace the pc at some point if low fps is a consistent problem, you can't really upgrade laptops
Seeing "Microsoft Basic Display Adapter" in any log suggests an issue with GPU drivers, may need to update the iGPU drivers. The actual GPU doesn't have much memory either.

The display adaptor on a laptop is usually the iGPU, which will be an Intel GPU for your system, with a driver not meant for anything much beyond allowing you to get by until you have a real one it may be a major bottleneck.

Thanks for all the help, turns out I needed to update my inetgrated chip drivers for my nvidia drivers to work properly, never would have even thought of that so thanks very much
