Blueprint stuck in inventory.

Hello all,

I checked back a few pages and didn't see this mentioned anywhere and I've also googled it and the suggested things have not worked for me.

Basically I have an empty blueprint blue square stuck in my inventory. When hovering over it, it just says 'Inventory filter'

Left click it does nothing, right clicking it does nothing.

I can create a new blueprint and place it over the empty blue square and it becomes that new blueprint. However deleting the blueprint then just leaves behind the empty blue square in my inventory again.

I can move an existing blueprint I have over the empty blue square and it becomes that blueprint. However moving the blueprint back just leaves behind an empty blue square again.

i feel like I've tried everything so far and I'm stumped.
It's obviously not game breaking or anything, it's just super annoying. Any help or suggestions is appreciated.

After some looking through the controls as a last ditch option I found that under the editor controls that ctrl+middle mouse deletes an object. I tried this and deleted the pesky empty blueprint, so problem solved!

I believe what you had was not an actual blueprint, but a spot on your bar reserved for a blueprint. Things on your hotbar are not the actual items, but kind of filters that will display the item from your inventory and give easy access. If you no longer have that item, the toolbar spot is still reserved for any copy of the item when you do get one. You must have placed a blueprint on your bar, then deleted the original.

As you discovered, middle-click will clear any toolbar filter you have.
