[1.1.19] pump does not pump fluid out of fluid wagon

As in description. I have a train with fluid wagon with fluid and the pump won't pump it out.
No mods.

like allways mentioned in the wiki the (un)loading area has to be a waggon long straight rail line. not a curve or anything

If the unloading area is a straight line this is still happening.

I dont see a train stop, which means you manually drove the train there. This means the pump and the wagon are misaligned. Use a train stop to align the train properly.

This is the cause. For some reason, pumps require pixel-perfect train placement to connect to the wagons. The best (only?) way to get this precision is to use a station and let the train drive there itself, and avoid any curve the the train between the station and the pumps. Curves will slightly change the positioning of wagons after the curve, which will mis-align the train/pump pairing.

I've played around a bit and it turns out that the pump won't work if there's no stop. Even if you align the wagon properly, if the train is not at a stop, the pump won't start.
I think it might be related to the fact that the pump has a connect / disconnect animation and the game must handle that somehow being sure that you won't move during that anim...

Yes it/they will. You have to be parked pixel-precise.
