Sometimes I wish I could massproduce a clone army of my own.
By placing belts or power poles out spread around your base you can "push out" how close bases can spawn. Effectively securing your foothold and preventing too much attraction.
Or green modules.
Ultimately the mindsets and tactics/tools available to a beginning player, a more experienced player, a veteran player and the modder are going to be very different from one another.
Its a problem that frequently pops up in these kinds of games (doesn't matter whether its modded minecraft, factorio, space engineers, terratech) - while well intentioned. Veterans frequently come with solutions that are leagues ahead of the problem the player asking the question is facing.
