Batteries in Power Armor not Working?

I have batteries and solar panels in my power armor, but the batteries don't seem to be charging. I'm not sure what's causing this, but does anyone have any solutions?

Is the power going to something else? (Shields, exoskeletons, ect.)

Then the power is probably all going towards running
then when you finally do get battery power, it likely goes straight back into running once you move again

Regular power production must exceed regular consumption before batteries will charge. Batteries benefit variable consumption equipment (such as shields, weapons or roboports.)
