Blue science, requirements
Hi,
My friend and I want to get science to 1 second, so red science is 5 red science factories and 1 iron gear wheel.

Blue science then! (skipping the green, know that one ). Makes 1 every 24 seconds, so to get it to one second you need 24 of them or 12 using the advanced assembly plant but for the sake of easy math we use the normal one so 24.

Now it needs 2 engine parts, takes 10 seconds to craft so need 10 to get to one second but it needs two so 20 engine assembly machines 1? ( or 10 using the machine 2 )

Needs 1 sulfer, just needs one chemical plant (spews out 2 per second)

needs 3 advanced cicruits one crafts per 6 seconds, so need 6, but requires 3 so 18 advanced circuits assembly machines(1)?

I am really bad with match, iam a visual learner ( so reading fancy lines of 24/32x23 etc is hard for me to follow lol )

But I feel like it is a LOT of assembly machines and wonder where the error is. Please help

Actually, assembling machine 1 have a speed of 0.5, meaning that you need twice as many to get 1 per second (10 for red, 12 for green and so on).
Either way, for those more complex ratios you can either use a website or a mod (ingame but removes the ability to get steam achievements) to do the math for you.

According to the site I need 10 engine 9 Advanced circuits, my own calcs ment i did x2 of it, so i toke the 0.5 into concideration without actually thinking of it..

You know in Anno its all so much easier to figure out the ratio's lol.

Weird, when I put blue science to 60 per minute on the site I get 24 machines for blue science (since it produces 2 per cycle), 20 for engines and 18 for red circuits.

It is a lot of assembly machines because recipes get a bit slower once you get to blue science and beyond (red circuits, engines, etc take forever to make).

I think you have a good method, starting at the top and deciding on a fixed rate to base everything on. Yes you might get a number wrong every now and then, but that is not important. It is a simple yet efficient way to plan your base.
