No Steel Furnace?

I can't find the steel furnace and the electric furnace.
Not in the green or yellow or red icon.
I deleted all mods... not there.
I started a new map... not there.

What is wrong with my game?

Do you mean, in the research menu or the crafting menu?

In the research menu click on the search button (magnifying glass) at the top of the left-hand panel and type "material". That will show you the 2 "Advanced material processing" techs you need to unlock the furnaces.

In the crafting menu, they're under the 2nd tab (production, it looks like an assembling machine). They only show up once you've researched them.

It is still not in the research menu.
But I made the 1. advanced material processing. And there is a small icon as "effect" and after clicking at this icon I have it in the crafting menu. :)
