Smart Splitters

There should be smart splitters to filter out a element off the belts. The smart grabber just doesnt cut it when you have a load running on the belts. I would like to see the splitter be able to filter every element chosen and placed on the side belt.
- options to choose ratio and which belt to split to.
- options to chosse which lane on the belt (i.e. left belt lanes 1 and 2, right belt lanes 3 and 4)
- This would clean up belts to just switch lanes

I would really appreciatte this, as it would remove the legions of smart inserters that are scattered around my base for this...

this would be a nice addition. it would be nice if the outlets could be slected with a menu like those on the smart inserters, with the addition that u can choose if its left or right belt side. like that u could also reverse the input lines from left to right, etc.

it would also be helpful if the ratio could be selected, like that you can set that only every 3rd of the selected item gets sorted and so on. like that u can even distribution, even if u cant flood the belt with items at that time.

I like your input on the idea. ratio and lane choices would be awesome and really clean up the belts.

It would also address the insane contraptions people build to do that...
