Transport Belts require power-- But act as small power lines!

I think the belts moving with no power is rather unrealistic. But I think if they had a 3x3 grid of power like this:

x=power
z=belt
0=no power

0 x 0
x z x
0 x 0

Then it would be fair. Then a power line can only be placed right next to it and then it could transport the power all along to a different pole. That way you can't easily use belts to power machines but easily to transport power.

I think this would be cool, what do you think?

TBH, there's nothing unrealistic about the belts not needing electricity.... we all know they are powered by mechanical energy, e.g. hampsters. :-)

There is a mod; Electric Transport Belts. It has not been updated to 0.15
