rocket artillery turret
bassicly a place that holds a bunch of missiles which you can automate so it picks up the missile's to use them as ammo like the gun turret

only it fires them from realy realy realy far away

beacus right now i honestly don't have much of a use for the rocket launcher since it is beter to use ANYTHING else besides the pistol of course to kill the bugs mainly beacus of these reasons

1 the rocket launcher fires too damn slow and yes i upgraded all the speed and damage it could possibly have in the research tab

2 it is just too expensive to use rockets and the rockets are not very good since there damage isn't that big and the range to fire the damn things isn't that big either


this is not a hate or complaint about the missel/rocket launcher but i would like another or better use for the rockets beacus at the moment they are not that usefull even compared to the shells for the tank the rockets still suck and i think that is too bad honestly

Yeah, rockets really need an overhaul (though I believe the devs have one planned for v0.15).

In the meantime, there's a mod called "Additional Turrets" (I think) which includes rocket turrets as one of quite a few options. You get two versions: a long-range but slow one, and a short-range but rapid-firing one. I don't recommend putting explosive rockets in the rapid one.

I found myself frustrated when I found out how much worse the range on the player's rocket launcher was (I hadn't used it before my previous game) compared to the slower rocket turret, and ended up turret-creeping with that loaded with explosive rockets to deal with the enemy bases.

Hell with a speed upgrade at least you could clear trees with it :D
