Train Appearance Mod

Is there a mod that changes the appearance of train and / or tracks? I was looking at one of Dosh's videos where he was trying to beat Space Exploration and his trains looked very futuristic.

From what I gathered watching his series on the mod, that's part of Space Exploration itself. It seems it has a second set of trains and tracks for use in space.

I think the trains are the most modified item in the game. There must be close to a dozen, probably 'close' as in less then 2 dozen, mods with modified trains. Bullet trains, old-world steam trains, and probably everything in between. I'd suggest going to the mod portal and search for trains and see what's there. You will probably recognize the train, if it isn't one unique to SE itself, and know when you "find" it. You might also find others you like enough to check them out in-game to see what they really look like.

You were probably thinking about the SE Space Trains[mods.factorio.com] mod.

Yuoki has a vintage train mod as well; making them look more like the "classical" depiction of trains (think year 1800 models)

I love his mod, i don't even use them as trains, just as decorations.

It is. I went looking myself while watching Dosh's SE video. They're so sleek and suave.
