Check steam and remove the mod from workshop. And delete it from local mod folder.

Where is the workshop?

They don't know what they are talking about. Factorio uses it's own mod manager, there's no Steam Workshop for this game. And the answer is, funny enough, in the thread below this one:

Go to %appdata%\Factorio\mods\mod-list.json and disable the mod in that file.

If you don't know how to do that, ask again :)

How and what would I go to, to use this “ %appdata%\Factorio\mods\mod-list.json”

On mac, it's not %appdata%.
Check the sticky thread in this mods subforum, it has the path where mods are located for all OS under "manual installation".
You can either disable the mod through the json file in there or delete the zip file for the mod.

Oops your right. I was thinking of another game. Forgot factorio uses own manager. Been while since played. So went on habit. My answer WOULD be correct for games like space engineer and some others. BUT not for this or riftbreaker with own mod managers.

To OP sorry for mix up. Was late and was tired and went on autopilot with out thiniking. Again sorry for mix up.

And JSON file Fel talking about was what I was trying to say. And the zip file. So I was half right lol
