Mod to place Roboport on a Train Car?

Basically have a train have robots and they can build a train track for the train... by using resources on the train (in train carts) and they recharge from the roboport on the actual train cart? Or is there somthing entirely like this, that i'm dumb and unaware of?

I think a mod with "vehicle equipment grids" should cover what you want. No, I don't have a link handy, but searching that phrase in the mod list will probably get you there.

I've used the mod called Construction Train[mods.factorio.com] in the past, and I've also used Angel's Mass Transit's Crawler train[mods.factorio.com] (which it's standalone and can be used without all of the Angels core.)

There's also Vehicle Grid mod[mods.factorio.com] that adds grids to ALL vehicles, overwriting specific vehicles from other mods that you wouldn't want for them to lose their specific settings, so you'll have to mess around with the mod settings to prevent that.

And finally, there's the FARL[mods.factorio.com] mod that specializes in automating railway construction, I've had it installed but never used it myself, but from the videos I've seen is pretty much autonomous.
