Quality of Life mods
I just got last achievement i was able to get and i did everything i could in vanilla. So i think i am ready to start with mods.
I don't want to jump straight to Angel's or Bob's, i was thinking more about smaller handy mods.

Hence my question: any recomendations?

I was thinking about Long reach, Squeak Through, Autofill and Upgrade planner..any others?

If you don't wanna be bothered with choosing and keeping research going, AutoResearch.

If you want another use for excess wood, Wood Gasification. (Changes wood into Tar and Petroleum, Tar then can be turned into Heavy or Solid Fuel I think.)

If you're looking for something with the Upgraded machine tiers higher than vanilla, but without all the changed ores/fluids or new recipes of Bob/Angel, go ExtendedPlus that was updated by JimmyJon.

Equipment hotkeys ~ toggle roboports, exolegs, nightvis on/off with a single keypress. No more pulling components out of armour / building 2 copies to hot-swap.
(Pretty much the only thing that really bugs me in vanilla.)

Bottleneck is useful ~ puts an indicator on each crafter, helpful to find problem spots in larger designs.

Score extended ~ better info / tracking for rocket launch statistics.

Minimap autohide ~ useful to see much more of the contents of logi chests etc when you mouse-over. Also adds manual hotkeys to hide / show various UI sections.

Slower Quickreplace ~ "fixes" the default run & upgrade mechanic, so that splitters are not automatically replaced while swapping belt types. (Can still click-replace them as normal though.)

Saved the best for last: Underneathies ~ much cuter name than "underground belt".
Absolute #1 essential mod. ;3

if you only pick a certain few mods out of bob's, then they work great as QoL mods. personally i am using Logistics, for faster belts, adjusable inserters, for the longer and angle grabbing inserters ( it lets you adjust any inserters you place to how you want it too, up to 3 spots away), and assembling machines ( because i wanted/needed faster assembling machines).

Nanobots is great if you're planning to mess around with heavy-duty mods where you'll need to repeatedly destroy your setups while expirimenting.
