Fun in theory, meh in practise.
Actually... Since we have modular armor with parts in it, it's quite possible for someone to take the turret and 'mod' in a basic component sheet to boost turret functions, like making it so auto-aiming a turret requires you to put in a Auto-Aim module.
You could equip a Laser turret to instead of shooting at enemies, have a 'Recharge' Module in it that charges players with energy capacity or bots, or even other turrets that uses electricity, at a range.
It also would be fun to turn a machine gun turret into a shotgun turret.
T1: One gun, short, easy to make, early stuff
T2: Two guns, larger, etc
Since these have shorter time to attack targets on the move, they would have to be quite powerfull compared to wall-turrets.
Also, if this were a mod, it would have to modify the RAILS too to make sure they dont get blown up by cannons for instance.
Tried that. Quite underwhelming and underpowered. Also, the rocket-turrets destroy rails.
You place eighter a gun-turret or a rocket-turret into the wagon and it "turns" into a X-turret wagon... I tried adding more than one gun-turret, it did not work nor change appearence.
If it were just pre-set turrets with each wagon and each wagon craftable separate, it would be fine... It aint.
