How to clear cliffs on vulcanus

I have cliff explosives but is there a way to only select cliffs when deconstructing, so my robots don't try and remove every single rock and tree?

Yup, take a deconstruction planner, put it in your blueprint library ( "B" ) and then right click on it and put that it should only affect cliffs.
