How to prevent cargo auto dropped from space platform
I have one space platform that makes white science and drops it down to planet. And I have another space platform I want to use to move that white science to another planet. But the platform immediately drops down white science the moment it receives it because the planet constantly requests white science.

How to prevent this from happening?

There's a box on the platform schedule next to each destination/planet, that you can check or not to allow/prevent your platform to drop things there.

well. it worked for the moment but when I added the route to gleba (and that checkbox is on by default on new route) the space station immediately dropped the science.

malgoss has the answer, but can you explain why it is you're producing white science anywhere but Nauvis orbit? Just make it there without sending your platfrom anywhere. If it's too slow, make multiple copies of the same platform. You can have unlimited platforms. Personally I'm up to four such white science platforms, and I'm already at what was considered megabase levels of science production in 1.x.

You should really aim to send all your science to Nauvis, as that's the only place you can use biolabs which double the science you get from researching each pack.

Because the Gleba science rot, 1k pack turns to 200 with manual transport. I'd better of bringing other science there to unlock the research I need.

And I am no where near the bio labs stage

I temporary disabled white science request as a work around, I just thought there is an option to disable cargo auto dropping for specific space station I use as personal transport.

You should be moving on from Gleba until you have a good supply of rare T3 quality modules, and then re-approach the whole Gleba scienc stuff with quality. For any other science, quality is wasteful, but on Gleba it helps a lot.

Could be helpful to use some circuitry to control your landing pad requests on each planet. I have a constant combinator with the requests I have, per planet, and then some other combinators figuring out the difference from with my local logistics network what I need to be calling down from orbit. A more advanced build would use the new selector combinator to only request full rocketfuls of items, to prevent platform cargo jam-ups with incomplete requests leading to over-filled platforms calling up entire rocketfuls from the ground. Nothing from my platforms drops down to the ground in my game unless I specifically am asking for it. And it only calls down set amounts, i.e. multiples of 1000 science.

just set a 0/inf science pack request for nauvis, as the platform will never drop stuff it has as a request even if it is 0

My speculation - add your planet to the platform's schedule and uncheck "allow cargo drop" on this planet (or something like that).

im using quality for electromagnetic science. can fit more on a ship that way

Worst case, that's one or a few extra rocket launches to bring the packs back to the platform. You'll recover.

But you could turn off Gleba's pack request, add Gleba to you platform route, disable unloading, then reactivate Gleba's pack request,

FYI it's pretty easy to make space science in Gleba orbit. You just need an ammo assembler and like 4 turrets for defense. If anything it's better than trying to make science in Nauvis orbit, much more asteroids to work with.

It's not practical in the long run due to the aforementioned biolabs, but it works fine before that. Much easier than shipping science around.
