You should really aim to send all your science to Nauvis, as that's the only place you can use biolabs which double the science you get from researching each pack.
Because the Gleba science rot, 1k pack turns to 200 with manual transport. I'd better of bringing other science there to unlock the research I need.
im using quality for electromagnetic science. can fit more on a ship that way
Worst case, that's one or a few extra rocket launches to bring the packs back to the platform. You'll recover.
But you could turn off Gleba's pack request, add Gleba to you platform route, disable unloading, then reactivate Gleba's pack request,
FYI it's pretty easy to make space science in Gleba orbit. You just need an ammo assembler and like 4 turrets for defense. If anything it's better than trying to make science in Nauvis orbit, much more asteroids to work with.
It's not practical in the long run due to the aforementioned biolabs, but it works fine before that. Much easier than shipping science around.
